Our families and wider community are incredibly important to us and we have recently established our Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) at the Academy.
We work together each day to build our children into well rounded citizens who CARE, INSPIRE, ACHIEVE, DISCOVER and IMPROVE at every opportunity.
We very much feel that ‘we are all in this together’ and that support and cooperation within and beyond our community builds and strengthens our school and the experiences for our children.
We operate an ‘open door’ policy and love to welcome our families to our ‘Celebration Assemblies’ every Friday. We also LOVE to perform for our families and the wider community.
Our PTFA helps to support the school by organising social and fundraising events and we love to take part in charity events like ‘Children in Need’, ‘Comic Relief’ and ‘No One Should Have No One’ a Christmas project with local elderly residents which focussed on recognising and helping with loneliness in our community.
We are very much looking forward to continuing to build our community links. If you are interested in joining our PTFA our Chair is one of our parents who can be contacted through the Academy office on 0161 339 7822.
